MYTH II LOCAL KNOWLEDGE INGEST LEDGER — 2026-09-16

This records how the private Myth2Bot knowledge tree feeds the public preservation library. It is an intake record, not a claim that every source file is canonical.

PROMOTED INTO THE READING LAYER
- knowledge\gameplay\unit_roles.md -> Unit Field Guide; Battle Practices: role, strength, weakness, and safety guidance retained as DOCUMENTED ROLE or PRACTICAL guidance.
- knowledge\gameplay\units_light.md and units_dark.md -> Unit Field Guide; Glossary: plain role summaries retained; balance and deep matchup claims remain untested.
- knowledge\core\myth2_fundamentals.md and tag_relationships.md -> Modding Foundations; Claim Register: Unit -> Monster/Object and map/tool boundaries retained where marked confirmed.
- knowledge\history\myth2_overview.md -> History Foundations; Story Arc Reader: campaign orientation retained as local paraphrase, not copied dialogue.
- knowledge\research\battlefield_cluster_map_option_2026-09-16.md -> Cluster-map Option; Claim Register: preserved as PROPOSED/UNKNOWN until telemetry and transform evidence exists.

HELD BACK FROM PROMOTION
- Files marked draft, TODO, or runtime needed are not silently upgraded.
- Exact field semantics, stat values, canonical tag/sprite/palette pairings, and build-specific behavior remain in the research queue.
- Scout and BigC submissions must use the Collaborator Intake Template and retain the original capture plus privacy review before changing a public claim.

REVIEW PATH
1. Preserve source or capture and record date/hash.
2. Assign DOCUMENTED, TESTED, OBSERVED, or UNKNOWN.
3. Map it to a local page and list the remaining boundary.
4. Update Claim Register and manifest together when a public artifact changes.

PROVENANCE
Private source root: C:\Myth2Bot\knowledge. Public artifacts are paraphrases and bounded summaries; private files remain the deeper working record. External links are attribution/freshness checks only.
